der Leichnam des verstorbenen Politikers/Fußballers wird öffentlich aufgebahrt (im Englischen wird dieses Ereignis als “the deceased president/football player lay in state” beschrieben; mit “public viewing” ist es lediglich gemeint, dass die Bevölkerung – ergo, “the public” - dem Verstorbenen einen letzten Tribut zollen kann; “public viewing” kann auch bedeuten, dass z.
