wir setzen voraus, dass jeder Mitarbeiter an einem Strang zieht = for a successful corporation it’s essential that staff read from/off the same page/script; good managers aim to have everybody on the same page/speak the same language/sing off the same hymn sheet; every corporation must have a proposed terminology/an official line; management has agreed on a common vocabulary/company line on this vexing issue; portraying one version of the truth across all departments of an organization is a must; loyal workers never forget to salute the same mission statement; part of a company’s mission is to bring everyone in the same tent on different themes; middle management should always act in line with corporate policy; rank-and-file should think and act like a neuter bee; company-wide it is expected staff use approved buzzwords/work in unison on key projects;  everybody is expected to fall in line with the new directives 

immer den Schulterschluss üben/suchen = always put on a united front/close ranks on important issues; in order to achieve the corporate goals all staff should be on the same page/adopt a unified approach/dance to the same tune; union and corporation should forge closer bonds/be in lockstep with each other

Briefkastengesellschaften dienen der Hinterziehung von Steuergeldern = large corporations sometimes transfer huge amounts of money to dummy/shell/smoke screen enitities to evade paying (higher) taxes in their home countries; those surrogate companies/fictitious fronts are run by straw men/cronies/shenanigans

Muttergesellschaft zieht in Erwägung, eine/n Tochtergesellschaft/neuen Standort zu gründen = the parent corporation I work for intends /is on track to set up a branch/an offshoot/an associate/a sister company overseas; a new subsidiary has seen the light of day/has begun life/has come into existence

neuer Hauptsitz wird eröffnet = today we take the wrapper off our new headquarters building
